Flash Flood at RVR

Share

Friday's (8/27) rain caused a severe flash flood that did significant damage to many areas of our ministry partner, River Valley Ranch.

Early estimates put the damage well over $100,000.

While we are praising God that no one was injured and that He allowed it to happen when summer camp season was over, now we need as many hands/feet to rebuild ASAP! In addition to the summer camp, RVR is also host to many church and group retreats during the off season. These repairs need to be made before the retreat season begins.

Please visit the RVR website here to find out how you can help with your time, talents and money!

A Raven Sighting!

Share

Did you know star Ravens quarterback Joe Flacco actually is a real person and eats dinner?

It's true!

I saw it with my own eyes! I was out with my family for dinner and there he was. I can't tell you the venue, because he may like to go there on occasion and prefer some privacy there. What I can tell you, is that he was so gracious and friendly to all the excited fans who came up and greeted him- including my sister, Melissa. A very humble young man indeed. I was too shy to go up to him. Can you believe that? It's true. I really wanted to, but didn't want to bother him. Aghhhhh.. May have missed the chance of a lifetime.

Pray for our Ravens as they prepare for this big game on Sunday!

Hugs!
Tracey

Tracey & Mike's Smackdown Workout

Share

Tracey and I have been talking about how we are upping our exercise routines to help us keep the pounds off. Thursday, Tracey invited me to a Smackdown Workout her club in Columbia. It was sweet! We worked hard and I think we surprised ourselves at how nice it was to workout with a buddy. Took a couple of pix to prove we were sweatin' it!

Photos of Transformation

Share

We have been talking about Mike's weight loss and how you can really see the transformation in the photo from his passport (taken last July) and a new passport-style photo taken a few weeks ago.

We would like to see your Photos of Transformation. Between now and next Tuesday (7/15) at 10am, email your before and after shots to TMD@wrbs.com. We will post some of the most dramatic transformations and one person will win a prize pack with tickets to see the Bowie Baysox and a couple of CD's from the 95one WRBS prize closet!
