On December 10, audiences from around the globe will be able to return to the magic and wonder of C.S. Lewis' beloved world - via the fantastic Narnian ship, the Dawn Treader.

In this latest installment of the blockbuster The Chronicles of Narnia motion picture franchise, Edmund and Lucy Pevensie, along with their cousin Eustace and their royal friend King Caspian, find themselves swallowed into a painting and on to the Dawn Treader. As they embark on an incredible adventure of destiny and discovery, they confront obstacles beyond imagination.

Every Friday we have the opportunity to find out what is good and not-so-good at the movie theaters from Bob Waliszewski the director of Focus on the Family’s PluggedInOnline.

Last year, Bob wrote and OpEd piece for the Los Angeles Times about the MPAA's PG-13 rating for movies and that maybe it is time to re-think the ratings. Wheather you have a teenager or not, this is important to read and maybe get involved.

Hey friends!

Mike and Dave were out today and so I was joined on air by Erin and Jeff.

We had an interesting conversation with listeners this morning after I confessed I saw the absolute worst movie I've ever seen on Sunday.. I should have really checked it out before going, but I judged it by the trailer I had seen. So misleading! And the rating was PG-13 and should have been R.

1John2:15 says, "Do not love the world or anything in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him."

There are so many things that the world says are ok, but if we want to really live for Christ, we must carefully discern what the Lord would have us do. I took Jesus into that movie theatre with me. And for that I am truly sorry. A good learning for me, for sure.

We also had a lot fun this morning with listeners who called in from all over the listening area with those neighborhood nooks, the great hole in the wall that has the best ice cream, pizza, crabs, atmosphere, cheesesteak, etc... We also played "Name That Tune" and I butchered yet another good song on the clarinet. It must not have been too bad because listener Danielle guessed it right away. It was "Empty Me" by Chris Sligh. I hope Chris hears it and asks me to do some tour dates with him. Clarinet is making a comeback!
