It was a busy Tuesday. News this morning that gas prices are again at record highs. This is becoming an every day thing. Lot's of people are changing their vacation plans because of the travel costs. If you're thinking about sticking close to home we talked with Liz Fitzsimmons from the Maryland Toursim Office about some fun, family friendly, and not so obvious places to visit. Click here for three minutes packed with a bunch of ideas.
In our 8 o'clock hour we shifted gears and talked with a panel of guests about teen sexual purity. We were joined by Sara and Will Eastham. They recently made a commitment to stay pure until marriage. Here's what they had to say.
We also talked with Sara and Will's mom, Karen. She talked openly about what and how she discusses the issue with her kids. Here are her comments.
Christi is a listener who heard our discussion and called in with a wonderful suggestion. While she was in high school she wrote letters to her husband. She had no idea who he was, just that he was somewhere on the planet. After she got married she shared those letters with him. Here's what she had to say.
And then we talked with Donte from Bridgeway Community Church about a special ceremony his church held for teens this past weekend. Dozens of kids made a commitment to stay sexually pure until marriage.
We also gave away tickets to see Brad Stine to whoever e-mailed us the best wedding picture...of cake smashing. The winner was Matt and Becca Geris who today are celebrating their second wedding anniversary.
