Rainy Mondays
Tracey, Mike, and Dave, Monday, April 28, 2008It's a rainy Monday. Not the most enjoyable way to start a new work week, but this morning Tracey boldly guaranteed to make it a fun day. That's where our listeners came in. We threw the question out, "what creative thing do you do to make a rainy Monday the best day of the week?".

Mike this morning also told a poignant story of how he visited his great-grandmother in Kentucky last Thursday after the GMA week events were over. She's 98 years old. The day after his visit, she suffered a stroke. Keep her and the Alley family in your prayers.
Tomorrow is Tuesday. We'll have our weekly CD Dowload at 7:30a and we'll also talk with Mary Hunt about how to survive financially in a bad economy.

How to Save on Groceries
Tracey, Mike, and Dave, Monday, April 7, 2008This morning we talked to Mary Hunt about how to save money at the grocery store. Mary is the editor of Debt Free Living and the author of a bunch of books about money management. For Mary, learning how to live within your means is not simply an academic exercise. At one point in her life she had over $100,000 in consumer debt, but worked her way out of it. Anyhow, Mary gave us some great tips on ways to save money on groceries.

We also enjoyed a studio visit from local singer, Elizabeth Christopher. It was part of our Live Music Monday series.
