Mike met Carlos in the town of Campinas where he has three of his four children in the nearby Compassion Center. Carlos and wife came to faith in Jesus through the church that runs their Compassion project. Even though Carlos has been looking for a job for two years he knows that the Lord is with him and taking care of his family's needs with the help from Compassion sponsors in the US.
