First Friday

We're at the Chick Fil a in Perry Hall this morning. Having lots of fun. We started the morning with a bunch of kids from Perry Hall Christian School right up the street. They helped us begin the day in a really cool way.

PHCS student Johnathan played "Name That Tune" with us!

Then Emily played the Ah-Um (& Like) Game. We always add in the "Like" when it's a teen! HA!

Later in the Morning, a pair of brothers came in to play our reverse game of "Name That Tune" with their violins. We dubbed them "The Strad Brothers!"

Be watching the VLT Stops page at WRBS.com for next month's First Fridays location.

This morning we played "What's in Tracey"s Purse?" Her purse is large enough to carry an entire country. We gave listeners the opportunity to identify an unusual item inside that's not found in many purses. Although a bunch of the guesses were related to her dog, Benny, we learned it was actually a prop that had only recently been added to the jumble of possessions she lugs around with her every day. After a lot of guesses, a young listener finally guessed correctly.

And here is "What's In Tracey's Purse!"

Because it's Tuesday we also featured our Weekly CD Download. This week Laura Story's new CD, "Great God Who Saves". If you missed it at 7:30a, click here.

Tomorrow, we're going to tell you about a very cool opportunity for your kids to have fun and be exposed to the Gospel. We'll be talking about that after 7a.

CDs, Kyle Rote, and Tunes...oh my

This morning we had fun. Because it was Tuesday we did our weekly CD Download. We give you an entire CD in less than four minutes. Today we featured the group Fee and their CD "We Shine". Click here to listen

We also got to talk with Kyle Rote, Jr. this morning. He was a huge professional soccer star back in the 70's. He also won ABC's Superstars competition three times. And, he is a committed Christian. Here's our conversation

And to end the morning we played a new game, "Name That Tune". Actually it's not that new...just the way we did it is. Let's see...it involved Mike impersonating a well known TV announcer, a dusty old clarinet, and Tracey trying not to laugh. Here's how that went

Here's what it looked like.

What's In Tracey's Purse??

Played a new game, "What's In Tracey's Purse?" As it turned out, she had and old, dehydraded orange. It is way gross....so, we decided to show you!

Mmmmm....delicious!
What else is in that giant purse? Be listening and we will play it again soon.
Thanks for listening!
