Hello friends!
Yesterday I did it! After being blonde my whole life, I decided to make a change. It's funny how much of our identity as women can be wrapped up in our hair.. I am just praying that this big change on the outside will just be a reflection of a deeper change on the inside. It's symbolic of a season of growth in my faith, putting grief behind me and getting on with the abundant, amazing life that Jesus has offered me. It feels so different to be a red-head! So far I like it... and I feel sassy!
So many people have posted comments and have been so encouraging to m, that it actually has helped me to embrace this new person in the mirror today. And because so many of you have asked where I had it done, here's the scoop. My dear friends Mario and Dean own a fantastic salon in Towson called Lluminaire. They are 2 of the godliest men I know and they have a team of very talented stylists that all do amazing work. The number at Lluminaire is 410-583-1500. Mario did my hair this time with consulting from Dean, but anyone you get at this salon is the best.
Change is good!
Smiles,
Tracey

It’s so nice to finally put a face to the voice I hear every morning I drive to college! I used to visit your website when I attended Perry hall Christian just for weather advisories for school, but never looked beyond the wrbs page. Now that I go to a secular university, I have no need to visit wrbs page, until this morning I heard you talking about how hair is so important to girls and women in general! And I am just like that... but the story behind you changing the color of your hair was so touching, I almost started crying! It’s awesome how you tie spiritual things to every day things... its encouraging to hear since I’m not around people like that as much now as before in my Christian bubble at high school. ANYWAYS!.. I love your hair, and you’re beautiful! (Inside and out!) You are one of the most genuine people I have ever (met?) I feel like I know you, but you don’t know me... enjoy your new hair, and keep growing in the love of Jesus!

I love your new hairstyle. It is awesome. You look pretty!
Hi Tracey-I finally met you face to face at the River Valley Ranch Run back in August (?) My daughter refers to you as my "best friend Tracey" because I'm always commenting on something you said on your show---and filling the family in on everything that goes on with the WRBS gang (especially you!)I was moved by your comment about your hair and hoping the change would motivate you to change other things in your life----your comments/spirituality and warmth often stay with me through the day and yes---often get me teary and choked up.I LOVE the new hair---color looks great but the cut/style is really awesome! Hope this change inspires you---YOU inspire me daily!
Blessings- Susan
LOVE the red hair. I must warn you, as a natural red-head, I know the "sassyness" only increases:) You'll be surprised how Jesus can use it!
