We're getting ready to begin Day Two of our Three Days of Compassion campaign. Yesterday we finished with 81 kids sponsored. This means there are 81 children whose lives will be changed because of the generosity of listeners in Baltimore. We still have a long way to go to reach our goal of 1000 children. We know the economy is having an impact. Maybe you'd like to sponsor a child, but are concerned about the money. We understand. Please pray and see if God is leading you to do this. If not, pray that He would lead others to sponsor a child. If He's saying yes, you can find your child to sponsor by clicking here

Hi guys
As a Compassion sponsor and advocate, I just want to say Thanks for your efforts.
I heard you talking about hard economic times and ways that people could save $1 a day. How about this...Bottle Water...the kind you buy at a convenience store. Americans spend over $17 Billion a year on water in those little bottles that are not that good for the environment. So give that up...help a child for life...AND do something to save the planet.
I keep a refillable container at my desk. Each time I refill it I am reminded that many children in this world do not even have this basic necessity. I am also reminded that in a country that has so much, it takes so little from us to save a child.
Keep up the good work!
