This morning we updated you about a couple issues that could impact your family. The first is a new child safety seat law that goes into effect on Monday. The new law requires kids through the age of seven to be in a safety seat or a booster seat. We got the details from Maryland State Police spokesman Greg Shipley. Click here to listen.

The second issue is a severe blood shortage in the region. For the most needed blood types the Red Cross reserve is less than a half a day. By comparison, they usually like to have a 5-7 day supply. We talked with Katie McGuire about the need and what listeners can do to help. Click here to listen.

I hate seat belts. I know there good for me, but I hate having to wear them.
And car seats for 7 year olds is just wrong.
Where will it all end.
Oh well, the Lord would have us joyfully obey. I'll try.

Here's a link [ http://www.4ever4given.com/2008/06/ excellent_video.php] that shows a powerful message given by Pastor Paul Washer.

What an outstanding message he gave to this youth service. It's what our Lord is trying to get through to us here in America methinks.

Blessing s to you all.
